This chic Naples retreat caters to those desiring a luxury urban lifestyle—fine restaurants, boutique shopping, and cultural events are all within walking distance; beautiful white sand beaches and some of the best golf courses in the country are just a short drive away.
The two-story Le Parc home in the Residences at Mercato is designed for buyers who want the privacy of a single-family home with the benefits of living adjacent next to one of Naples’ hottest lifestyle locations, “You don’t need the overhead amenities of a condo community,” explains Mike Hoyt, the developer’s Senior Vice President, “because you have a private pool in your luxury home and everything you could want is a walk away. You can take advantage of the nightlife and then stroll home.”
Matthew Kragh of MHK Architecture and Planning designed the entire enclave of homes. Kragh has built his career on coastal contemporary designs which borrow from Old Florida and West Indies architecture. Le Parc includes Kragh’s clean lines, signature bracketing, and most notably the white exteriors because, as Kragh says, “White is timeless.”
Clive Daniel Home’s Charlie Hansen and Rebekah Errett-Pikosky completed the interior design, working with an organic palette of creamy linens, yellow and green mustards, rich espressos, and grays. “We wanted chic, clean lines, and no fussiness—the scale of each piece works with the sizing of the rooms,” explains Errett-Pikosky.
Spacious and bright, the home features a gourmet kitchen that segues to a dramatic two-story great room where pocketing sliders lead to a courtyard and private pool—a seamless transition between spaces. The owner’s suite is just beyond, with its own entrance to the pool and private terraces. Upstairs, a gallery catwalk separates two en suite bedrooms from a loft, an additional en suite bedroom, and a bonus room.
Royal oak wood floors in an antique white finish are laid on the diagonal for flow and texture. Mustardy-green velvet chairs with modern floral inserts are from Wesley Hall Furniture. The earthy hues are echoed in the custom-cut woven sisal rug with threads of mustard yellow, while mustard pillows provide contrast on the gray velvet sofa from Clive Daniel Home Originals. The Four Hands coffee table has a vintage base with a galvanized metal top.
Design Studio by Raymond provided the Lauderdale-style UltraCraft cabinetry in Rag and Bone painted maple. The kitchen features a perimeter under-counter wine cooler, spice drawer, and pull-outs in the pantry cabinet. The Ocean Beige granite covered island holds the sink and dishwasher, double trash pull-out, and cutlery divider. The appliances are from Ferguson Kitchen Bath & Lighting Gallery. Jessica Charles stools have a charcoal and cream pattern. The chandeliers are from the Jonathan Adler Ventana Collection. A two-story accent emphasizes the grandeur of the great room. Custom Jackson Pollack inspired art is painted in Eminent Bronze by Sherwin-Williams.
The upstairs hallway doubles as an art gallery with paired prints in earthy mustard tones from Clive Daniel Home, set off by an iridescent olive and charcoal pattern in the casement window’s mock Roman shades. The catwalk has an aluminum powder-coated handrail and stainless steel cable. A Jonathan Adler chrome and black chandelier with multiple linen shades coordinates with the kitchen island lighting below.
Quatrefoil metallic sconces with linen shades from Regina Andrew Design illuminate the Noir console in the loft. Clive Daniel Home Original twin sofas in cream with dark bronze nail heads are set on a Surya jute woven rug. A Noir triple-tiered mesh and metal pendant is suspended from the tongue-and-groove tray ceiling. Metallic accents continue in the Noir wrought iron coffee table, a metal sculpture from Clive Daniel Home, and decorative pillows and throws.
The owner’s bedroom walls painted in Sherwin-Williams Natural Choice are framed by applied-trim details above the baseboard and below the crown. A border of tongue-and-groove adds interest to the ceiling soffit area. A custom linen drapery panel with black leather accents works nicely with the dark nightstands from Noir. A charcoal and cream striped upholstered bed from Stanford Furniture sits on a chunky-cable Surya rug in charcoal mink. Cyan Design lamps feature white painted driftwood bases.
The owner’s bathroom floors are Ultra Modern Colorbody porcelain in Progressive Gray. Design Studio by Raymond UltraCraft Sarasota cabinets in Rag and Bone-painted maple are custom height to accommodate the extra thick bevel-faced granite countertop in Butterfly Beige. Cabinets include vessel sinks, extra-wide drawers, and custom slatted shelves. Accent walls behind the DXV bath tub and the glass enclosed shower feature polished strips and matte chips of the same porcelain as the floor. The visual contrast of dark, architectural metallic frames, in this case around the mirror, repeat the theme seen throughout the home.
The simple yet elegant natural linen-upholstered Braxon Culler bed is right at home with the textured, wide-plank wood floors and the multi-tiered tongue-and-groove tray ceiling. A Noir desk with dramatic curved legs is paired with a linen-upholstered ebony chair with nail-head detail. The Sherwin-Williams Dorian Gray-painted walls create a backdrop for eclectic art hung salon-style. The room has subtle plum accents, from a custom bench along the wall, to the custom drapery panels with dusty plum undertones. Sliding doors lead to a Juliet balcony.
The floor tile, American Olean Infusion in Beige fabric, extends onto the walls. American Olean Color Appeal Plaza Taupe forms the glass tile band through the center of the wall. Rift-cut oak UltraCraft cabinetry with open shelving in a Wenge finish was custom made by Design Studio by Raymond to accommodate extra thick Black Mosaic granite. A Visual Comfort accent sconce is positioned between dual mirrors from Clive Daniel Home.
The landscape and pool amplify the home’s elegance with clean linear rectangular lines, a wet-wall feature, and an elevated spa with a two-sided edgeless waterfall. Conifer Jasmine vines climb the privacy walls, creating an architecturally attractive grid pattern. Selective placement of palm trees complements the hardscape elements and reinforces the clean transitional coastal experience. The shellstone pool deck has an outdoor kitchen, Pelican Reef outdoor furniture, and a concrete table by Seasonal Living. Surya pillows provide pops of color.
