Sweeping Sophisticate

Situated in a gated park-like setting in Naples’ Pine Ridge Estates, this home encompasses over 9,400 square feet of clean, transitional-style living space. Ideal for entertaining, its six bedroom suites, multiple living areas, and media room wrap around a spacious lanai, custom pool, and spa overlooking the estates’ nearly two-and-a-half acres of property.

Traditions Classic Home Furnishings’ designer Kriss LeCocq chose furnishings specifically to accentuate floating ceiling details, recessed cove lighting, and walnut wood floors with limestone inlay. “I wanted to create an organic, simple, and stylish home that was family-friendly—where children could run from the pool, through the house for snacks, and outside again without worry,” explains LeCocq. “I wanted each area to have a purpose and be put to use.”

The first area you see as you walk into the home—the dining room looks directly out onto the pool. The limestone inset in the entry is mimicked by the rug in the dining room; a large table with the chairs placed on either side invite rather than obstruct the view.

Beyond the backlighted bar is a lounge area perfect for a glass of wine before dinner or an after-dinner brandy. Stylish comfort is found in the elegant lines of the Theodore Alexander chairs and sleek cocktail table.

The upstairs sitting area reflects Kriss’ signature blending of styles, comfortably applied throughout the house. A pair of traditional wingback chairs with a modern fabric choice, a transitional conversation sofa and a contemporary cocktail table, all pull the space together.

The outdoor space was kept light and airy, similar to the inside. With the amount of time spent in this private serene area, it was a high priority to find pieces that were comfortable, and interesting. Whether it’s the weave of the chair, the curves of the teak, or the rawness of the cement tables, the furnishings accentuate the nature that surrounds

The upholstery fabrics selected are durable (sometimes even machine washable) and light in color, in contrast with the dark walnut floors. The well-curated mix of fabrics, art, and transitional case goods and furniture from Traditions, creates a comfortable, livable home—a haven for all who gather.
