Upon completion, a 5.5-mile creek will meander along the southern portion of the development. Optional membership is offered at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek, which will offer 54 holes of championship golf. The first course, The Creek Course, has been designed by architect Arthur Hills and was named to “America’s 100 Best Residential Golf Courses” list by Golfweek Magazine. This par 72 course includes 67 bunkers, broad fairways, signature stone bridges and luxurious comfort stations. The course plays 7,150 yards and has six tee locations to suit players of all skill levels.
The second course, The Preserve, is being designed by the award-winning team of Hurdzan/Fry and is sure to provide members with yet another challenging golf experience. 4 The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek features a Golf Pro Shop, a practice range, putting greens and chipping areas. When complete, The Golf Club will include an approximately 100,000-square-foot Tuscan-style clubhouse and private teaching area. Members also have the opportunity to participle in member-only and member-guest golf tournaments that challenge and delight all comers.
Fiddler’s Creek residents also have the option to join The Tarpon Club. Located on Johnson Bay in nearby Isles of Capri, The Tarpon Club marina provides direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and offers both wet and dry slip storage, a fueling facility and a ship’s store. Fishing charters, both deep sea and backwater, are available with priority reservations and preferred pricing.
Tarpon Club members also enjoy privileges at the club’s luxurious Beach Pavilion at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, which includes private beach access, complimentary lounge chairs and towels, beach attendants and valet parking. In addition, members have privileges at the resort spa, waterfront ballroom and can take advantage of both casual and fine dining venues.
