Striking A Perfect Balance

Great blue herons, natural preserves and luxury lifestyle - these are the comforts of home when home is located at Fiddler’s Creek. The award-winning, 4,000 acre master planned community aims to exact a perfect balance between nature and man. Less than one-third of Fiddler’s Creek will be developed for residential use, while the remainder of the land has been dedicated primarily to nature preserves, lakes, parks, golf courses and recreational use.

With more than twenty years of experience in Naples, developer Gulf Bay Group of Companies, plans to offer 100 distinct neighborhoods within the community upon completion in 2020, while maintaining a very low density level of only 1.6 homes per gross acre of land.

Upon completion, a 5.5-mile creek will meander along the southern portion of the development. The creek is best enjoyed from the homes along its shores as well as from The Marsh Pointe Nature Preserve, complete with overlook gazebo and boardwalk, providing residents with a vantage point to view the pristine mangroves and ever-present wildlife.

With details like this, Fiddler’s Creek translates to a community that offers its residents the opportunity to live the Florida lifestyle as it was intended to be lived - close to nature, with all the amenities required for an active lifestyle.

From single-family homes and coach homes to villas, Fiddler’s Creek offers a wide range of residential choices designed to appeal to all who seek to live in this outstanding community.

According to Kim Minarich, vice president of corporate communications for the Gulf Bay Group of Companies, the developer of Fiddler’s Creek, “We are not simply marketing homes, but rather a complete lifestyle. We are always thinking about ways in which we can offer our residents as full a calendar as they’d like while here at Fiddler’s Creek.”

A wide range of first class amenities are aimed at fulfilling that goal.

Optional membership is offered at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek, which will offer 54 holes of championship golf. The first course, The Creek Course, has been designed by architect Arthur Hills and was named to “America’s 100 Best Residential Golf Courses” list by Golfweek Magazine. This par 72 course includes 67 bunkers, broad fairways, signature stone bridges and luxurious comfort stations. The course plays 7,150 yards and has six tee locations to suit players of all skill levels.

The second course, The Preserve, is being designed by the award-winning team of Hurdzan/Fry and is sure to provide members with yet another challenging golf experience. 4 The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek features a Golf Pro Shop, a practice range, putting greens and chipping areas. When complete, The Golf Club will include an approximately 100,000-square-foot Tuscan-style clubhouse and private teaching area. Members also have the opportunity to participle in member-only and member-guest golf tournaments that challenge and delight all comers.

Fiddler’s Creek residents also have the option to join The Tarpon Club. Located on Johnson Bay in nearby Isles of Capri, The Tarpon Club marina provides direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and offers both wet and dry slip storage, a fueling facility and a ship’s store. Fishing charters, both deep sea and backwater, are available with priority reservations and preferred pricing.

Tarpon Club members also enjoy privileges at the club’s luxurious Beach Pavilion at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, which includes private beach access, complimentary lounge chairs and towels, beach attendants and valet parking. In addition, members have privileges at the resort spa, waterfront ballroom and can take advantage of both casual and fine dining venues. The main restaurant, Sale e Pepe, offers gourmet Italian cuisine and has earned Wine Spectator Magazine’s “Best of Award of Excellence 2006.”

All homeowners at Fiddler’s Creek are members of The Club & Spa, a luxurious 54,000-square-foot facility devoted to serving members’ varied fitness objectives while offering spa treatments that indulge the body and soul. Certified personal trainers offer classes in spinning, yoga, Pilates and interval training, while a 4,300 square foot fitness studio is available for individual weight and cardio training. The Club & Spa also hosts the community’s multi-plex pool, casual al fresco poolside dining at Gator Grille as well as fine dining at the Caxambas Dining Room featuring nouvelle American cuisine.

The sense of community is further enhanced by such planned activities as trips to professional baseball and football games, weekly bridge and book clubs, seminars on everything from financial planning to interior decorating, and holiday parties throughout the year.
