   Since Diversified Publishing introduced the first issue of Home & Design Magazine in 1997, the publication has not only gained great popularity and won industry awards, it has also earned the attention and respect of Realtors, designers and homebuyers. Today the magazine is a favorite real estate, home improvement and home furnishings resource publication for homebuyers in Lee and Collier County.

This year the Magazine and its staff is taking pride in partnering with McGarvey Custom Homes and International Design Source to create the first annual Home & Design Magazine Design Home. For the benefit of Home & Design readers, the entire building process will be covered in future issues by a series of articles that will follow its progression from start to completion.
   To epitomize the ultimate in home design, the Home
& Design Magazine Design Home will showcase the award-winning building talents of one of Southwest Florida’s finest luxury homebuilders, McGarvey Custom Homes.    The International Design Source showroom is located on Taylor Road in Naples with a new second location, The Design Parc, on Corkscrew Road in Estero. Scheduled to open in the summer of 2006, the new 50,000-squarefoot showroom will offer an additional 6,000 square feet for lease to design professionals and will include an onsite design library to be complemented by computer stations and high-speed wireless Internet access for research.
   For the Home & Design Magazine Design Home, The Design Parc showroom and its state-of-the-art computer system, which links to www.idsl.com, will be open carte blanche to the interior designers at McGarvey Custom homes. Working with The Design Parc staff and new state-of-the-art software utilized to customize a piece of furniture with a frame, fabric and finish, the McGarvey interior designers will work with top-of-the-line manufacturers to customize furnishings and accessories for the interior and exterior living areas of Casa Coronado.
