Granite Direct, Inc. was originally founded in 1994 and is a family owned
and operated business specializing in the custom fabrication and installation
of natural stone slab countertops and quartz products: granite, marble,
limestone, travertine and onyx. From the man-made side, Marble Granite
Direct offers a variety of quartz products from several different manufacturers,
which include Silestone, Zodiaq, Caesarstone and Cambria. They also
design and fabricate custom tables for their clients.
Principals Peter Spiska,
Sr. and his two sons bring more than 30 years combined experience to the
company, including Spiska’s 40 years experience in the construction
industry and operating a multi-state engineering and consulting firm.
Capitalizing on his engineering
background, the company uses a sophisticated method of measuring
and mapping out how a countertop will be fabricated and subsequently installed.
This method ensures the most efficient usage of stone slabs and leads
to having the least amount of seams as possible in a countertop.
Sons Peter and George attended
Division 1 colleges on tennis scholarships and subsequently played professional
tennis.The whole family has remained active in the tennis community since,
and their love of tennis, golf, boating and the beauty of Southwest Florida
are the main reasons they have chosen Naples as their home.
