The Design Parc: A Vibrant Addition
to the Southwest Florida Market

Plans were unveiled for a new center dedicated to the design and construction trades. The hub of the project, The Design Parc, is set in a campus-style atmosphere and situated in the Corkscrew corridor, west of Interstate 75.
Approximately 140,000 square feet will be utilized for the design and home improvement market as offices, showrooms and storefronts with spaces ranging from 1,500 to over 20,000 square feet. The master plan of The Design Parc will be developed in phases, with out parcels containing free-standing stores and corporate headquarters included in phase two of the project. "The Design Parc will be a tremendous professional resource for not only furnishings, textiles and design services but also for the remodeling and construction of a home from the ground-up," notes Emilio Sadez, owner of International Design Source, a major tenant in the center. "In creating The Design Parc, we are also able to offer inspiration and resources to the design community and the general public with a diversity of products in one location."
Amenities will be incorporated into The Design Parc to include a full range of activities such as courses, exhibitions, seminars and special events. Open house tours and receptions will occur on a regular basis and a "SEE RED" tag sale geared to the consumer will be held once a year.
Brit E. Svoboda of Corporate Realty and Development, Inc., a broker as well as co-developer of the project, is handling leasing for The Design Parc.
The Design Parc is scheduled to open in early 2007.
